Hey Expo TV This is Obs84. Today I am going to review the movie Spiderwick Chronicles. This is a family-oriented film kind of a thriller adventure. It kind of reminds me a lot of the movie Jumanji if you saw that. This movie is about a mother who moves into an abandoned house with her kids. And it turns out that the abandoned house is a portal into a fairy world. So there are goblins and fairies and magical creature and everything like that. Basically the whole movie orients around this magical land and how the family interacts with it. And the goblins how they try to bring everybody down and everything like that. Now even though this is a family-oriented film and it is very clean I think it can still be scary for younger kids. There is a kind of a menacing gobbling especially when they come for an attack or when the kids throw stuff at the goblins and melt them lots of that kind of stuff. It could be frightening for younger kids. Especially there is a big crow in there who is very menacing I would think. And if you are under I don t know probably six five or six I think you can be terrified by this. This crow who is basically trying to peck your eyes out. Now in terms of gore and violence in the film because even though it is family you know it is a thriller. There are some actions adventure. There is some blood. Fortunately though clearly it is not human blood. It is green so if you don t mind seeing green goblin blood and some green but type things. Because there is a trap that runs to a goblin once and obviously there is green goo that splashes everywhere. So if you don t mind a gory goblin blood it is really not that bad. There are some scenes where the goblins slash at some kid s legs. There are some sword plays all very mild nothing graphic. Nobody gets cut open. There is no profanity in this movie. I think there is a [Break in recording]
