Video camera tool

sarah_expo posted on March 27, 2008 at 7:07 pm

I love my LG enV phone but I can't seem to figure out how to get videos that I've recorded off my cell phone onto my computer. The files are too big to email to myself from the phone. Do I have to use some sort of USB cable or something? Or buy a memory card in order to do this?

There are two video settings. Only the smaller of the two can be sent via email. It can only be 15 seconds. For longer videos you should get a microSD card. It should come with an adapter that can then be used in a computer card reader.

Michigal is correct.
However once you buy you micro sd card you will need to move the video over from the phone memory to the card. You can also tell your phone to store videos and pictures to the card by default so you dont have to move them each time.
By going to
Settings
Save Options
Then choose your option below and tell it to store on your card.
Pictures
Videos
Sounds
Congrats on your phone I'm glad you love it. I love mine and other than the size is a bit clunky I don't know that I would have any other phone.
BTW I think the phone specs say it will support up to a 1 gig card how ever I have been using a 2 gig ever since I bought my card and the phone recognizes the card as a 2 gig.
I have full length movies, several play list and tons of pics.
Hope this helps.
Don

If your computer has media card slots then you can insert the adapter with the micro sd into the appropriate slot and use windows explorer to copy and past your files to the proper place on your card. If your computer does not have media slots then you can buy an adapter from Wal-Mart or wear ever. I think i bought my adapter from Big Lots for about 14.00 . Let me know if you have any problems. If you will insert the card in your phone first it should format the card so that when you open it in widows explorer you should see your music folder sounds folder and pics folder and so on.

Hope this helps.
Don
