I don't think there is any option, you need a soda. A big one. People who've done this before know what I mean. Once you get into double digits it can become a little oppressive, and you need that coke to take the edge off. If you're going to be serious about it, you need to eat fast, no breaks. Take those sliders down like it's your job, and worry about it afterwards. But to do that, you need a constant supply of soda - go for the huge cup if you're doing 8+, you don't want to have to go back to the counter. The burgers are so cheap, it's not like paying $2 for a giant drink will break the bank. I think a milkshake would be disastrous honestly, but if anyone has pulled this off, please share your story and technique.
