Question

When its turned into a car seat, is the car seat actually safe for the baby?

YES! It comes with a base that will actually stay in your vehicle and the seat will pop into that base and out very easily. It is very handy to just pop right out of the car right onto the stroller. The baby will sit backward on the stoller while in the car seat and that lets you see the baby while you are walking. Then as the child gets older you will not need another stroller because he will no longer sit in the car seat, he will sit in the stroller facing forward at that point. My baby is now 20 months and it is still accomadating our needs. It is well worth the purchase. The car seat is standard and meets all specifications and safery regulations.

Stroller and car seat come together and both have canopies to, if you wish, cover the child totally.
