Yahoo! Adds Sundance Channel and ExpoTV to Yahoo! Video Lineup

Two New Branded Channels to Deliver Independent Film and TV content from Sundance and Consumer-Generated Product Reviews from ExpoTV

SUNNYVALE, Calif. – January 25, 2007 – Yahoo! Inc. (NASDAQ: YHOO), a leading global Internet company, today announced that Yahoo! Video, will feature content from two new partners, Sundance Channel and ExpoTV. The two new channels will showcase a range of compelling new content for Yahoo! Video users from Sundance Channel’s exclusive behind-the-scenes footage at the Sundance Film Festival to ExpoTV’s consumer-generated video product reviews and buying guides for everything from beauty to cars. The addition of these two channels enhances existing content on Yahoo! Video giving users access to new popular and relevant videos on the Internet in an all-in-one comprehensive resource.

Sundance Channel on Yahoo! Video, will feature the unique content and culture of creative filmmaking at the annual Sundance Film Festival in Park City, Utah as well as additional content from Sundance Channel’s programming lineup. With daily updates, the content featured will include videos such as:

  • Festival Dailies – clips shot on location in Park City, Utah, capturing the life and behind-the-scenes happenings at this year’s Sundance Film Festival
  • Festival Filmmaker Profiles – segments from Sundance Channel’s series of biographical looks at the creative minds behind the films at the Sundance Film Festival
  • Compelling web-only footage -- behind-the-scenes shoots, outtakes and exclusive clips from Sundance Channel original series, films, shorts and documentaries.

  • Videopinion Reviews – short consumer-generated product reviews that give vocal consumers a chance to rant or rave about products and services and share their personal experiences
  • How-to-Buy Videos – informative buyers guides with shopping tips and evaluation demonstrations for consumers looking for help with their buying decisions
  • Product Demonstrations – contributed by advertising partners, these videos give consumers a chance to see products in use before they buy
