Aiptek started in 1997 producing a line of graphical tablets but has recently burst onto the video camera scene. Since then they have developed the world's first pen type digital camera and in 2008, their 1st pocket size camcorder was launched at a price far below their competitors.

Aiptek's cameras, referred to as the "5-in-one", are known for performing a variety of unique tasks including voice recording, mp3 and video playback, and even high definition video recording.
