Question

can this product be swallowed?

Hello.
This morning I caught my 4 yr old putting the vapor rub into my 1 yr old daughter's mouth. Yikes! I wiped her mouth out with a wet rage, then kept giving her fluids for an hr. She seems ok. Just wondering if this product could cause harm if swallowed.

It should say right on the packaging that it is for external use only and not to get in the mouth or nostrils. I would call my ped if that were my child.

I would read the packing, although I don't think it would be very appetite friendly.

I don't think this product should be swallowed. Check the packaging and if you can't find an answer there, call poison control.

Yes, i agree I would look on the package to make sure, and to call the poson control if she gets to sick.
