Hi Expo TV today I have the iClicker classroom response unit. This is basically a little radio transmitter that you key in the frequency of the classroom you're in and then you can answer questions with the A B C D E buttons that are on here A B C D E. Then the teacher or whoever's at front of the class can tally the results for everyone who has one of these and display it on the screen. It can also be used for attendance and other diagnostic things with the students in the class. It works as advertised. You press a button and then they can see that you pressed the button pretty straightforward. One thing that I don't like about it is when you have to key in the frequency of the classroom you have to hold down the On But if you want to save batteries and turn it off you have to do it again when you turn it back on even if you didn't change frequencies before that. So every time you turn it on you have to put the frequency in. I think it would be a lot more helpful if they just have it saved the last frequency it's on; so that every time you turn it on it's automatically there. That would be a nice feature but they didn't do that. So you end up wasting batteries keeping it on to save the frequency; or just wasting time by keying in the frequency again. Bad move on their part. But another good thing is that it runs on AAA batteries so you can recharge it anytime you want.
