Hey how's it going? Today I'm reviewing this wine the Blue Crab Blanc from the Northern Neck of Virginia Chesapeake Wine Company. This is a -- apart from the blue bottle I think this is a pretty unspectacular wine. I got this at a Virginia wine cellar and I'm vigorously unimpressed with this wine. I thought it was too sweet almost sickeningly so like some kind of misguided Riesling. It's not a Riesling; it's just it's classified as a Virginia White and it's grown and bottled and vinted all in the Northern Neck of Virginia so all the blame lies there. My advice to you is to stay away from this wine. I do not care for it and if I never have to drink another drop I'll be happier for it. I know that sounds harsh but when you're buying wine basically there's two kinds. There's good wine and there's bad wine and in my experience this is a bad wine. Now maybe on the off chance I did get a bad bottle of this but I don't think so. The problems with the wine weren't that you know it didn't taste like it was manufactured poorly or that there was some sort of cork leaking or anything like that. It was just not good you know. Anyway I don't know what else to say. I feel like I'm being a little too harsh to it. Like I said the bottle's nice. There you go that's it. I give this wine a one. I recommend that you stay away from this wine and don't --whatever you do don't buy this wine. Just one one out of five terrible.
