We still are small family but when we have a large family this will come in even more handy. You have this easy attachment that came with mine and also here comes you can order separately a blender that you can attach here and I have not had a blender on this one yet. But I have a friend who has one and she says that her blender is a little weak and I can see here and you know it is very small and a little that will only do maybe some juices or something like that. It's not made for heavy duty blending. But this part of the machine is made for heavy duty and I have made bread this piece here won't fit right in there and I have made bread before in it and it needs it I just put all the ingredients in there need it for certain amount of time let it set you know turn on and off let is seat then come back your rice and just take right out of here and put into my bread pan. I also made lots of good flakes and different kinds of muffins and things with your own; this makes it a regular blender here. And it makes as you can see the bowl is I do like that it also has a little guard here that I really like that keeps your face from getting all the powder all over it and stuff like that and it has a little opening here where you can add something else and it closes it uptight. When you re making bread it keeps it warm in there and also keeps the flour down in there instead of splashing it up in your face. So hope you know you enjoy much as I am
