Hi what I m gonna review today is the Cuisinart Can Opener Brushed Chrome Series. This is an electronic can opener. It s a really simple easy-to-use one-touch can opener. If you re like me I hate opening cans with the manual one because you have to turn it and turn it and twist it and some of those manual can openers are so hard to work with. Some of them are hard they re easily broken the handle is they re very cheaply made so I cannot stand working with manual can openers so I got this electric can opener and it is so much more easier than trying to manually open it. What you do and this is actually what it looks like. It is quite heavy because of the motor. This comes with the attached coarse cord and I don t like that part because you always have to kind of punch that if you wanna store it somewhere and you can t rock it around or something or anything. But this sits on your counter and the top lifts up and what it is is there is a little magnetic piece right here and you actually touch the can to this. It can hold 16-ounce cans or whatever size can that you have. It s a pretty strong magnet there and then there is a blade right here. What you do is you set the can right on top of this little ridge contraption underneath there then you put the top down the blades will touch right on the top where it's gonna be cut and then all you have to do is push down on the left hand side there s a little place for your finger to sit I don t know if you can see that kind of the little indention there and you just press on that and it will go around once. Once it s done it will stop it won t go anymore and then if you want you can just leave your can on there until you re ready. Say you re making chili and you need some kidney beans or something but you re not quite ready for it you can open it up and just let the can sit there and then it will hold until you lift this up. Even at that time the can will still be held until you actually manually take it out and then the lid all you have to do is kind of slide it off that magnet piece. So I definitely recommend an electric can opener for anyone who cooks a lot. They are so convenient and fast and it is affordable the Cuisinart can opener and this is just a standard home edition. It s not the big any bigger kind of a nicer design but I got it for under $20.00 at Bed Bath & Beyond so you can find that at any Beth Bath & Beyond. They don t sell Cuisinart at Wal-Mart from what I m aware of so as far as I know the other place you can find it is Bed Bath & Beyond. Like I said they are under $20.00.

An electric can opener is a welcome convenience in most home kitchens and is indispensable to cooks with arthritis or carpal tunnel syndrome. This easy-to-operate version from Cuisinart sports a contemporary brushed chrome finish, making it a more elegant-looking appliance than the electric can...
