Hi EXPO. This is the Cuisinart Automatic Frozen Yogurt and Ice Cream and Sherbet Maker. I just received this item for Christmas and so far we've really enjoyed it. It's very simple to use. It comes with this bowl that you can keep in the freezer. There is a liquid inside that is frozen so you don't need salt for this ice cream maker. Just keep this in the freezer and whenever you want to make ice cream or frozen yogurt or sherbet you take it up you put it in the base you put the mixing tool into the unit and then you put the lid on top and plug it in and basically just tick gap. It's very simple. There is a slot here on the top so you can pour ingredients. You can see there the hole. It comes with a great recipe and instruction booklet and it gives you lots of great ice cream recipes basic vanilla chocolate. Also how to make fresh sherbets different versions on ice creams and sherbets and it also gives you some premium recipes. If you wanna do fancier if there is like duck in that chocolate ice cream vanilla bean etc. But so far my kids really like it. It's been a lot of fun to have in the house. One of the items they suggest in here is to make slushies You can put any type of drink cola or juice and it will turn into slushies. So I know that they are looking forward to trying that. Thanks.
