Okay, -- your carpet is looking grungy but you don't want to go out and rent a big carpet machine, then I suggest buying the Bissell QuickSteamer 1960R model. It is light, easy to pick up at only 12 pounds. I mean your dog probably weighs more than this. It stores easy in your closet. You can get those small stains, those carpet patterns where people walk all the time, you can get those out. You can spill something on the carpet, you can get this out and within a few seconds, you can have your carpet looking clean and new. The joy of this is that it deep cleans like a big machine, but it maneuvers like a small handy machine. It's got big wheels to get where you need it to go, it's lightweight, and it comes complete with a free bottle of the fiber cleansing soap that you use in it. I bought this model from Amazon.com, a remanufactured model for only $59.99. Now, I can't go out and rent a machine one time for that much money. It'll cost me more than that and I got this one to do my carpet with all the time. And I highly recommend it. I'm very satisfied with it, and I hope that you'll be too.
