Bissell Cleanview 2 cleans

Reviewed on 09/20/07       Plays: 289

This vacuum is good enough to clean but not on a long term basis. If you need a vacuum, this is a good one to buy, but not use as a main for long.

This is a Bissell Cleanview 2 bagless vacuum cleaner. This is a 12-amp cleaner. It has dual edge cleaning. Model number on this is 7 3576-6. This came in a box. It was unassembled. We purchased this from Target for $75 to $80. The assembly wasn't too bad. It came with standard attachments. Lengthening wand there are two of them here. The edge cleaner for the stairs the way that this actually works; you got the hose and then you pull it up. It is an auto-on so you got your wand the hose stretches. So you get reasonable amount of length on there. The hose part is attached to the suction. So everything that you vacuum up actually travels up the wand and the hose into the filter area. There are a couple of filters on there. There is a free filter up here at the top. Then you got your bin. There is another pair of filters actually here on the bottom. This is just a plastic filter. Down here at the bottom you got one of the folded paper filters as well as a foam filter. These two filters down here needs to be replaced. The foam is washable. But after half a dozen washes it does start to come apart. This filter the plastic one up here is also washable. The other filter is on the side. This is another one of the folded paper filters. It is about ready to be replaced actually. The filters run between $3 to $5 depending on where you go to get them. This vacuum works. It is no longer my primary vacuum. We use this for lower traffic areas. We thread on because it make a little bit of a noise. But it works well. (Vacuum) But again we use a different vacuum for our high traffic areas since it was only our vacuum for a little while. And it works just fine for us. But now we just use it for bedrooms and the kid's areas.
