    Transcript of Video Review

Die Hard Two picks up where Die Hard left off. John McClane is once again -- it's Christmas this time he's in Washington DC he's waiting for his wife Holly to land at the airport Dallas International Airport. And what do you know it terrorists take over that one too. Basically repeating kind of the same plot in Die Hard except this time it's an airport. This is directed by Renny Harlin and in my opinion just as good as the first one. I still love the first Die Hard much more. I watch the first Die Hard a lot but Die Hard Two is still a great movie coz once again how can you not want to watch Bruce Willis playing John McClane fighting off terrorists. Great plot some great -- great little twists and it's exactly what you want to see. It's a continuation of John McClane doing what he does best you know being a good guy but still being an everyday type of hero which is still in the same vain as the first Die Hard all the Die Hard movies and that's what makes them so appealing as Bruce Willis plays John McClane as just an everyday ordinary guy. He doesn't have any special training. He's not SWAT Navy SEAL. He's not CIA and he doesn't have expert training in terrorists. He's just -- He's a detective he's an ordinary guy ordinary cop who's just got good insticts and he's very capable person. So you can identify him because he's kind of an ordinary guy. So when spectacular things start happening like planes blowing up or a dozen terrorists attacking you you really involve in the adventure coz you identify with John McClane. Filled with special features commentary by the director Renny Harlin got the making of Die Hard Two villains profile deleted scenes behind the scenes (indecipherable) story boards trailers and TV spots. Once again another great DVD with a ton of great special features for a really great movie. If you got the first Die Hard you gotta get Die Hard Two.

    Summary
On a snowy Christmas Eve in the nation's capital, a team of terrorists has seized a major international airport and now holds thousands of holiday travelers hostage. The terrorists, a renegade band of crack military commandos led by a murderous rogue officer (William Sadler), have come to rescue a drug lord from justice. They've prepared for every contingency except one: John McClane, an off-duty cop gripped with a feeling of deadly d j vu. Bruce Willis returns as the heroic cop who battles not only terrorists, but also an incompetent airport police chief (Dennis Franz), the hard-headed commander (John Amos) of the Army's anti-terrorist squad and a deadly winter snowstorm. The runways are littered with death and destruction, and McClane is in a race against time. His wife (Bonnie Bedelia) is trapped on one of the planes circling overhead, which is desperately low on fuel. System Requirements: Running Time 131 Min Format: DVD MOVIE
