Today we're talking about Hell Night. Hell Night on DVD This is a pretty much kind of a classic 80's B-horror movie. Why I should say classic this movie is actually kind of under debate as to whether it's good or not. I really like it. It kind of strays away from the gore and nudity still a little bit of sex in there but it mainly relies on suspense and tension which I really liked. This movie stars Linda Blair that's her on the cover there. Basic plot is: you've got college party. As soon as the movie stars off you've got people in college partying frat boys sorority chicks just party party party. College fraternity college sorority two guys two girls they have to spend the night in a creepy mansion where a grizzly murder took place years ago. So one night 12 years ago Madman Raymond Garth killed his wife and kids in his creepy mansion before he killed himself. They have to spend the night at Garth Manor. Actually I feel like this movie is just a little bit underrated too. It's kind of a slasher movie. Has the feel of the kind of the haunted house movie but the house isn't haunted. It is creepy. There is some creepiness to it it is a very dated movie. If you're looking for something 80s and this is it. This movie is actually under debate by some people so whether it's good or not I like it. I like it because it actually I love gore and I love special effects and stuff but I like how they used thrills and suspense that kind of scare you. Actually I feel like there's some pretty good scenes in here some pretty good scares and I actually liked the end of the movie too the finale. It's kind of cool. The DVD itself it's not [unintelligible] it does have some special features it's in widescreen it's got trailers TV spots audio commentaries from the director and producers and Linda Blair as well. I think it's a neat little film you might enjoy. You might enjoy it you might not. But give it a shot put it in your next flick list. This is Hell Night.
