Welcome to the [Mean Clean] Movie Corner Today we are going to take a look at Strawberry Shortcake: The Sleep Dreams Movie. This is rated G. Halley our eight-year-old movie reviewer is joining us to tell us a little bit about this movie. Halley what is this movie about? (Halley) It is about stopping the Purple Pie Man from stealing dreams from others. (Mom) Okay. Now you wanted to show us one of your favorite scenes in the movie. Can you tell us a little about this scene? (Halley) It is about . . . they wish that they were what they are in this part and some of the scene. (Mom) Okay. Now this is Strawberry Shortcake and it features her favorite pals in there. Like who is in the movie? (From the movie) . . . a dream. How a little . . . (Mom) Who is that? Apple Dumpling or Angel Fruitcake? (Halley) That is Angel Fruitcake. (Mom) Okay. (Halley) They have Orange Blossom. (Mom) Uh huh. (Halley) Of course Strawberry and then they have some new friends. (Mom) So this . . . Strawberry Shortcake was baked when I was little and now it is back out. She has got some new friends that she didn't have before. But in this one the Peculiar Purple Pie Man from Porcupine Peak is trying to claim all the berries in Strawberry Land. And he is trying to steal everyone's dreams. So it was a very cute feature length movie rated G and there is only one thing Halley that you didn't like about this movie. What was it? (Halley) It has no special features. It . . . you can pick your favorite scenes and the languages and it has some Strawberry scene which is good. But it does not have special features. (Mom) Okay. And that has been the [Mean Clean] Movie Review Corner.

Summary

If you believe in your dreams, anything is possible. Strawberry Shortcake has a dream of fresh new field of berry bushes - enough for everyone. But, when the greedy Peculiar Purple Pieman rolls into Strawberrry Land, he decides to steal Strawberry's dream - and everyone else's dreams, too! In order to stop the Purple Pieman and his evil plan, Strawberry and her friends must travel to the Land of Dreams. Along the way, these special friends learn the value of working together to make dreams come true.
