The reason why I show you two iPod Nanos and two Lanyard headphones is because we'd like to treat it from versions available out there one for the 1st Generation and one for the 2nd. Now the difference between the two is first you have different types of headphones. These are the old type of headphones here for the older Apple iPod and this is the new one. A smaller easier to fit in your ear shape and pretty much same sound I'm sure. The base on the old Nano it's actually a metal base and then on the new Nano it's a plastic white base. The reason why I want to show you both well actually it's a good comparison between the two. And the reason why I think you should get it. The reason why I got the Apple Lanyard headphones is because I really hate tying the cords on headphone cords around my iPod Nano and it's really annoying because I ride the bus school and then I had to tie it up and then untangled it after class and then tie it up again. With the Lanyard headphones you can easily just stick over you your head and then just plug in the headphones in your ears and you're ready to go really and when your class or need to hide it you can just stick it on your shirt and no one really notice. So I thought that's a really great accessory. Now great thing about Apple is they are king of accessory. They make you buy buy buy and with the new Nano the 2nd Generation they changed the bottom. The dock connector is still in the same place but the headphone port they moved it to the right a little so unfortunately you could not get the cheaper 1st Generation Lanyard headphones and put them on the 2nd Generation Nano. I thought that was really stupid and what they did was they made the price at $42.00. $42.00 for these headphones which I think is kind of expensive. I mean they sound good and it's great but it's just in my opinion not worth it. I'm actually going to return these because the built quality was kind of bad. I think it's just a faulty product whole thing at all. The Lanyard haven't really like that because my 1st Generation worked great but why it's faulty is that Apple really made the dock connector really well. It's actually pretty hard to pull it off and when you pull it off it broke the base. I can put it back and make it look brand new but I think it's just a faulty product but Apple seem like they put a lot of I guess not super glue but they tied the grips so that Nano has no chance of falling off of your neck. The straps are adjustable. If you do have a really big neck I guess I don't recommend it but it should fit any neck size in my opinion. If you want the best headphones these are definitely not it. These are just the same one. They are just for the new shuffle and the new Nanos and the new iPod videos and that's pretty much at all I can say about it. Again the ease of these Lanyard headphones it gets rid of having to tie the cord around the Nano and whenever your done like for the day I like to hang my headphones on to a door knob and just let it hang and whenever the next day comes then it's easy to take of Nano and put it over my head. Really easy to use. If you find it on sale I do highly recommend these Lanyard headphones. They work great and they provide so much less of a hassle than the regular stuff headphones. And that's my review of the Apple Lanyard headphones for the 2nd Generation of the iPod Nano and my name is Richard. Thanks.
