Hi my name is Christie. Today I am going to be reviewing for you the Britax Boulevard Convertible Car Seat. This pattern in particular is called the Shannon in case you have a little girl and you want something girly. There are about three main reasons why we picked this car seat that I will share with you. The first would be this removable insert which switched our little girl to the convertible car seat at about six months so she was still seemed a little bit small and a little bit swallowed up by such a large car seat but this padding did help us feel that she was a little bit more snug within the car seat. This car seat is available or it is acceptable to use in the rear-facing position with a newborn. It would just be in the reclining position a bit more than it is now. This inset is removable though once your child is growing. One of the other main advantages to this car seat would be a five-point harness which is the safest thing for your little one. The third point that we really liked about this car seat is the side impact protection. We also went with this feature in our infant carrier system my other video to learn which car seat we went with to have that feature. This car seat is very easy to install. I never even learned how to do the infant carrier base because it was so confusing and so hard to get right. This car seat is easy to get in and out and it is not a problem to transfer to another car at all. The last thing I want to tell you about is the Britax Customer Service. They have been wonderful. We had a problem with the strap on the seat they sent us a new one by UPS the next day and we have had absolutely no other complaints about this car seat. It is about $300 which is a little bit on the higher side however the weight limit for it is 65 pounds so it should last a very long time.
