This car seat has some nice features but not enough to override the bigger issues. Its very difficult to clean the seat, basically have to disassemble it, the cranks to tighten the belts are very difficult and awkward, not enough padding in the seat. Plus it's not holding up well at all, it certainly won't last long enough to outgrow

Hi I want to tell you about the car seat that when I first got it a year ago I really liked it. But as time goes on it has gotten to be a hassle. And I actually hate it and I am getting ready to replace it. This is this Evenflo here. It is the Evenflo Triumph. This is the deluxe edition. And I will tell you one thing that I like is that the owner s manual has a spot for it that tucks away. It is also very very easy to adjust the height on the straps just by pulling it back then you squeeze the lever and the straps move up and down quite easily. That is a good part. Bad part; see here on the back nice padding. There is absolutely none on the seat itself. And my daughter started to complain that it was hurting her. So I ended up having to put this end which a hip roll when it is rear is facing just to give her some padding. And so we are back to using this. And let us see. This here where you turn it to tighten it is kind of loud. But this lever here that you push down to loosen things on one side it already broke. And it makes it very difficult to get hurt in and out of the car seat. Like I said this is an Evenflo. Overall I mean it is easy to get her in it. It is of course highly safely rated. It is the inconvenience of it that is the pain. In order to take the seat off the seat cover off you have to wash them on occasions you have to undo eight screws take out a couple of plastic clips unthread it through the backing which takes about half an hour. And you really have to follow the instructions to the letter. And putting it back together another half an hour. It washes wonderfully. I haven t put it in the dryer and I wouldn t suggest doing it. Air dry it. But rethreading it that was a pain. And of course redoing eight screws and plastic clips they are fragile. Another thing that you have to be careful if you are washing it is how you hold the actual car seat with out the cover on it because the side impact foam that they got falls out. And it is also quite fragile. So I don t recommend this car seat just because of the inconveniences around it. Oh It also comes with a side cup holder which broke within a day. And it became a very very short plastic so we took that part off too. For the price spend the extra $50 and get the Marathon by Brytex or get another brand. This Evenflo is not holding up. I mean this thing is supposed to last until the child is four. No way it is going to last that long. It has enough life for maybe a year and a half. So I don t recommend this car seat. I am kind of sorry I bought it. And I will go market for a new one.
