Hey everybody Des here with a great product I think you re going to love especially if you re a first-time parent. This is the Chicco Cortina Travel System Stroller and a KeyFit 30 Infant Car Seat. These items can be purchased together at your retailer. I m going to tell you some great features of this product as well as a couple of things that I think they can change for next time to make it better. Some of the great features of this product include holders and tray containers for the parents as they re strolling as well as cup holders and a removable tray for the kids. Everything is completely washable completely detachable; all the components are really easy to remove and to keep clean. Inside there s a Memory Recline system on the seat. You just pull up on the handle to go up or down. There s a little headrest that adjusts to protect against this soft backing. There s a foot rest that s completely adjustable as well as the five-point harness with the snuglies around the shoulders. If you recline this canopy it can go down or up. There s also a mesh and a plastic covered window for your baby while you re strolling. If you put that inside seat down into the recline position there s a Memory Recline feature where if you close up the system take it someplace get to your destination and open it you re going to find the seat is in the same position that it was. This makes it really handy because when you re using the KeyFit Infant Car Seat it needs to be in the right position and it s ready to go for you when you get there. So I ll show you how the infant car seat fits in. You simply take it put it inside and then you push here in the center. What you re going to find is that when you hear that click you know that the seat is in place and you re ready to go. This is super easy to use. All the pieces interlock really smoothly and really simply. Everything s completely washable and as you saw easy to get in and out. This orange button back here is what you press on to pull the seat out. Also on the infant car seat itself a couple of really neat features are the removable snugly that s included with the system. The snugly just protects the head and arms baby s head and arms and feet there. Also it s got a really simple five-point harness with a latch system. You simply press on this button for the top components and then the bottom component has a little red button that you just push and the little lever comes moving in and out. If you want to adjust for the size of your baby you re just going to press in on this orange lever and you re going to pull and that gives you slack. If you press on the orange button and you pull on the handle you re going to pull in the straps to make them fit your baby really snugly. Something about the system that I find I don t love is that when the canopy is down it lets some light in between the seat and the canopy and that can get on your baby s face or arms or legs. It s just a frustration especially when you re traveling outdoors. Something else I ll point out is that when it s in the Memory Recline position it s really difficult to access this basket. It s a generous type basket but it s hard to slip things inside of there. I m going to show you now how the whole thing collapses. I m a pretty small person myself and it s not a lightweight system by any means. But I find it pretty simple to get it in and out of cars and easy to collapse which I think is a great feature. So all you re going to do is you re going to squeeze back here on this gray button as you pull up on the handle. When you do that the whole thing s going to collapse together. You re going to hear a click and then you know the system is ready to transport. It s very easy to wheel around. It can also stay stationary in a position if you need to let go for a moment. In order to open it you just push that same gray button and you pull up and then push out and the whole seat comes open. This stroller won awards and it was Consumer Report s Best Buy for Strollers.
