This is the summer infant black-and-white monitor. This set comes with the monitor which is portable. It plugs into an outlet. And a camera, which is also portable and mountable to a wall. You can see that we have it mounted here. It has an adjustable antenna so you can adjust to hopefully get the signal. It also has an adjustable frequency of A and B which corresponding signal change here on the monitor is A and B. This is so that if somebody else has some other electronic device that as conflicting with yours you can just switch channels and hopefully everything will rectify itself. We haven't had any problems with anything like that whatsoever. One of the nice things about this, it has a built in night light. So even when you turn off the lights, you can still see what is going on in your child's room. This is great for parents who get anxious when their child screams in the middle of the night, just to realize that their child woke up for a few brief seconds, they turn on the monitor in their bedroom, they don't have to open the door, the child is not disturbed, goes back to sleep. And the parents don't have to get up, the child wasn’t fully awakened. It is a great situation. Now, the monitor itself, has a speaker here, it also has these lights, these L E D. And they light up. With increasing sound. So you can turn off the monitor, there is an on off switch right here, very convenient. Actually in the middle and I, you go bang right on top, on it goes or off it goes. You have these L E D right here which will go brighter as the child makes more noise. So you can actually have the video monitor off, but still have the audio monitor. So it is like getting a normal audio monitor, but something better. You get to see your child. The great thing is you can move the camera around so that you can see your child in many different environments. The monitor itself also has this antenna which is extendable. It helps you to do things. It has contrast, brightness, and the channel back here so you can adjust those. We haven't had any problems with this. This is one of the, probably one of the most important baby tools that we have had. Far outweighs any other baby monitor we have seen. Especially for the price. $100, you cannot go wrong. You might be able to find one a little cheaper somewhere. Best of luck to you.
