It costs $3.00 for adults and $2.00 for kids. Lots of beautiful butterflies. Here's a carousel with carved wooden animals that costs $2.50 a ride. This is an elephant enclosure. Here's a tapir taking a bath. When the weather is bad the animals are kept in here but they can go in and out in the summer time. There's a black rhinoceros. This is a pigmy hippo bathing in the mud. Some more hogs. Now we're inside the anteater enclosure. It's gonna be dark in here so here it is. Here's the tram another $3.00 to ride at. Here's the buffalo. You better bring your own refreshments because that's right it's $3.75 for a 20-ounce of coke. The camels there's a place and good to cool off on a hot day like today. Pretty fountain at the center. There's a fun play area for the kids. We're in the dolphin arena for the dolphin show. The show costs $3.00 a piece. It's a snow leopard. These are seals. Here's a brown bear. Here's a rather small enclosure for a big bear. Here are the polar bears. This is one of the many lovely bathrooms the Brookfield Zoo. Here's the baboons. Here is the swamping closure. Here are the otters. Here are all sorts of monkeys. This is huge. There's a cool bridge you can walk over by the monkeys. Here are the gorillas. Here are the giraffes. The Brookfield zoo was kind of a dirty zoo. It wasn't as nice as our local zoo here so I'm gonna leave it at 3 Got a lot of nice animals but I just didn't feel like they were taking care of as well as I'd like to see them and it was really really hot that day and the dolphin show was probably a 110 degrees inside of that building. It was awful and it was not worth extra $3.00 we paid for an extra 3-minute show.
