Hey everyone Goob here again with another review of a video game. Today we've got Dead Rising for the Xbox 360. It's made by a company called CapCom which has made some really good video games in the past. Unfortunately this one is not one of them. This game Dead Rising was only made for the Xbox 360. Frankly it shouldn't have even been made for that because what happened was a really cool idea for a video game which is a video game based on the movie Dawn of the Dead where you're fighting zombies when you're stuck in a mall. So you're stuck in a mall you're playing as a character you're trying to fight off the zombies you can use a lot of different items in the mall. Tons of killing and gore because it is rated M for Mature. Seventeen and older people should only play it because of violence and there's some language and nudity and all sorts of stuff. It's a really cool game really cool idea. The problem is CapCom only made this game for people who have HDTVs. I don't know about you but I don't have one yet. Frankly that means I can't really play this game. You can't play it okay I'm obviously playing it behind me I'm running around on the rooftop but what you don't notice is it looks horrible in real life. I mean just abysmal. Everything is very tiny. Again you might not be able to tell it right now I'm running around on the rooftop trying to evade some zombies. They're gonna come try and attack me kill me soon so I'm trying to stay away from them so there's not a bunch of gore on screen right now. But if I was to turn around and try to play this I'd be squinting I couldn't really see much especially when you get near the zombies and you get inside of the mall. Like I said I'm up on the roof now so it's a little better now. But this is just unless you have an HDTV it's a horrible game. They don't tell you this before you buy the game it's only once you open it up and look through the instructional manual that you see Oh I need to have a HDTV to play this. So I just can't understand why someone would make a game like that. It says it's for Xbox Live. I haven't even had a chance to get on Xbox Live and play it because it's that bad I cannot see the screen that well. My brother's had the same problem. Friends would come over they'd try playing it and they're like: This is horrible. So if you have an HDTV check it out you might enjoy it. But if you don't have one do not buy Dead Rising no matter how many zombies you really want to go out and kill because it's just not worth it.
