Hey everybody Today we're gonna be looking at two items actually; they're the same item but different forms. The original Xbox controller as you can see here I have the version 1 when the Xbox first came out; the black humongous beast that you can barely fit two hands around. This is the biggest controller ever made I would say. I think one of the first to use the dual analogs but instead of having two right and lefts up here they use this black and white button up here. Very hard to use; I was never a fan of that. Then eventually when Xbox started getting their stuff together they made a much smaller much easier to use controller. But it still didn't have the right and left bumpers just the wing ones. Instead they placed the white and blacks down behind the buttons. Easier placement; but still I definitely prefer the two L and R buttons. Start and select is over to the side which didn't really make a difference to me. It's got two slots for the memory. Where Xboxes were ran on memory cards now Xbox 360 just has a hard drive and that's about it. Xbox 360 definitely stacked up the controller design but Xbox kinda knew what they were doing with the dual analogs. I like that. They took the Nintendo 64 C stick idea and dealt with that and I think it was a good call. Xbox has made good stuff in the past. When they come out with Xbox 540 I'll definitely be a fan of that. The controller would probably be much simpler. They seem to improve everything the second time around. So this is both of them side by side. As you can see a much bigger size difference in the first Xbox controller. I don't know what they were thinking on that but they changed it up and it was for the better. So I love Xbox. So if you don't have Xbox regular and you have an Xbox 360 don't bother. But if you're looking to play some classics like Dead or Alive 3 or whatever else is classic for Xbox pick it up for probably like $50 used now. So try to get the smaller controller.
