Hi and welcome to my video review of Mercenaries for the PlayStation2. It’s quite an excellent game. The way I would describe it is it sort of like, there’s a lot of comparisons made to the Grand-thief Auto series to Mercenaries and in a way it’s right. It’s a third person perspective action game, but the story line in Mercenaries is bit linier. Though you can choose which missions you do and do not want to do, it is a lot more linier that GGA’s, very open ended. Basically, it’s set in Korea; It’s a futuristic day and Korea decides that it don’t want to take over Korea again, so you go in as a Mercenary to take down the Decker 52, similar to the Decker 52 Iraqi’s from the Iraqi War. You’re given a Decker 52 leaders of the Koran army and you are suppose to take them out, capture them or kill them for bounty (Game Sounds) (Game Sounds) (Game Sounds). (Game Sounds) (Game Sounds). (Game Sounds) (Game Sounds). That’s basically the story line, you have three playable characters, one is very stuffy, another could take more damage, and another is an explosive expert. So there’s a lot of replayability there with three different characters. Playing with the one character alone though is great because it’s like 20 hours right there. But like I said, there’s replayability with 3 different characters, so you can really get a lot out of this game. It’s a good game. If you are a fan of the action shooter, John Round, I definitely suggest you take a look at Mercenaries for the PlayStation2.

Mercenaries, for the PlayStation 2, is an open-world shooter that is set in North Korea. The game offers players a large number of diverse vehicles to drive. Its single player campaign should take most gamers at least twenty hours to complete.
