Hi there what's up folks? Goob here yet again with another video game review. Today we're going to review the videogame called Rainbow Six 3. It's a squad based counter-terror it's what the game's called. It's made for the Xbox. One of the good things about it is it's upward compatible which means it can play on the Xbox 360 as well as the basic Xbox. That's because it was made recently right before the Xbox 360 was released just like two three years ago so it will work with both systems. It's based of a Tom Clancy's novel Raimbow Six and his name appear on the cover right up the side. Obviously it says Three that means it's the third installment of the Rainbow Six video game series. It's made by UB Soft and it's rated M for Mature because there's a lot of shooting and blood and gore and stuff. It's a first person shooter. As you can see behind me I'm holding a gun and I'm in the training mode so I'm only shooting like boxes and stuff. Basically what you have to do is you fight terrorists. That's your job you work for a counter-terrorist unit and your job is to just run around and kinda save the world. So as you can see I can switch guns between a machine gun and a regular gun. I can shoot walls I can shoot pretty much anything. You interact with the world around you so like if there's a barrel that's got like explosives inside it if you shoot the barrel the barrel will explode. The same thing with cars you can shoot up cars and blow them up. You can rappel out of helicopters you can throw grenades that kind of stuff. Everything you need is on the screen which is really cool because like down beneath me I don't know if you see down here all your information is down there. How many bullets you have how much your health is how your friends are doing how many grenades you have left all sorts of stuff like that. So I can pull out my pistol and walk over here and shoot this. You can also like plant clamor mines all sorts of crazy stuff that you can do. One of the good things about this is since it is a few years old like I said it's not so old that the graphics are horrible as you can see the graphics are prey good. But since it is a few years old it's gonna be much cheaper than some of the newer games. This will probably run you about $25 now which is much better compared to like $60 for some of the newer games. It's Xbox live-enabled which means you can go online you can compete against your friends you can compete against strangers whatever you want to do. You can join teams and create like clans. Basically you and your friends can create a clan and you have your own little clan tag so that when people see you they know you're in the same clan together or not. It's kinda cool my brother does that a lot. It's just a really fun shooting game. So it's a nice alternative to some of the more expensive games. Rainbow Six 3 here's the back cover. There's some screen shots and some nice explanation so it lets you know you can read about it if you're not sure in the store. One of the good things about it that I forgot to mention is you can play up to 16 players which is really cool. If you have a bunch of friends come over and you have a few extra TVs you get all the TVs in the house together and they all bring their Xboxes you plug it up and all 16 of you can play without having an internet connection. You make your own little network there right in the home. The instructions can explain how to do that. It's really cool. Rainbow Six 3 rated M for Mature for the Xbox. If you like first person shooters you will enjoy this game.
