    Transcript of Video Review

Hi, I’m Jess and I’m here to give you my thoughts on a recent Nintendo Game Cube release Mario Party 7. It’s for 1 to 8 players and rated E for everyone. Let me start with the graphics, since that is usually an important factor when considering the purchase of a game. The graphics look the same as every other Mario Party for the Game Cube. But then, what did you expect? It’s Mario Party. On to game play, the other important aspect of any game. There are six different boards to choose from all with different themes and you get to place your favorite characters, Mario, Luigi, Peach and the rest of the gang. There is even a couple of un-lockable characters. The object, the same as the rest of the series is to beat many games, earn points and then collect, buy or steal the most stars to become the super star. Inevitably every five turns or so Bowser does something to ruin your chance of winning. Well, no surprise there. I’m just shocked Peach doesn’t get kidnapped in this series ever. If you’ve ever played any of the previous Mario Parties, then you’ll agree that the mini games aren’t very innovative. And that microphone that you have to use for the specialty mini games, unless you turn the feature off, well, I like to call that technology at its worst. Yeah I turn the feature off. – So unless you’ve never played Mario Party, you’re seven years old or you just need to add it to your collection, you can skip over this one. All in all, I give this game a 2 out of 5 proving that Nintendo’s mantra, ‘if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it’, has taken this series one too far.00:1:44.000
