Today I am going to review this Ped Egg. This is the original Ped Egg and it is a new product that has just come out. It is an As Seen On TV product but I did not see the ad for it on television. I saw it in a magazine and I heard a lot of people talking about it and I thought I might like something like this. What it is is it is for your feet and I am all into having my feet done. I normally just use a larger emery board and actually my husband will do my feet quite often that is something I enjoy. Well what this does is it gently removes calluses and dry skin. So here is the Egg you can see it is right here in the package and this is how it goes. So what you do is you take it off. As you can see there is like a cheese grater that is what I think of it - as like in here and it is kind of scary to look at especially at the beginning before you ever do it. I just think oh my goodness it is going to cut my foot It says that it will not cut a balloon it will not like cut into a tomato or anything like that and it is true it will not do any of that. You can even run your finger across it and it is not going to hurt you. So what you do is you take it off its little holder and then I will try to show you my feet are not really very rough because my husband is pretty good at keeping them up but you just run it across your foot and listen to the sound if you can hear it. So it is kind of a freaky sound at first when you are hearing it. It kind of does remind you of like grating cheese or something. Now I do it very gently because I am sure that you could get too rough and cut yourself because my husband has made like his foot bleed before with just the file part of it - not with this but just a regular file. So this part snaps off and it catches all of your junk inside. I do not have too much junk in there right now but there is a little bit if you can see it. Each time after you are done you are supposed to wash it out and dry it thoroughly immediately so it does not rust or anything and keep it cleaned. You can then place it back on to the holder and then as you can see it has a little file emery board-like thing on the bottom to go ahead and give it that extra smoothness. This is the part that I normally love and it just feels so nice especially after having like a little as I call it fifth grader go across it. The shape of the Egg is great because it just kind of fits in the palm of your hand and I love that. You can sit and do this; you can pretty much do it wherever you want because it will not make a huge mess. Now when you are filing and it is not being caught but the regular grater part o it all the stuff is being caught inside. It leaves a nice little tingling sensation almost so when you go do the file it makes it feel really good. This is definitely something that I would give a five out of five. It retails for around $10.00. It might even retail for a little less I mean there is not much to it but so far I have been pleased with it for the $10.00 and it is something that I would definitely recommend for anyone. Once again this is the Ped Egg Professional and when I bought it I only saw a white but I did just see the other day that it came in pink also.
