Hello my name is Jodi. I'm here to tell you about the second book in the Twilight series and it's New Moon written by Stephanie Meyer the same author that wrote the first book. I had to get this as soon as I was done with the first one. I had ordered it from Amazon and it pained me to actually wait so long to be able to start reading it. Thank God there was a few chapters in the back of the first book Twilight to hold me off. If not I would just have went out of my mind stir crazy 'coz that's all I could think about at work. I come to find out Edward had left Isabella and she hasn't heard from him since and so she befriends this old childhood friend that she used to play with and is a few years younger than she is. It turns out he's a werewolf so now the story is vampires and werewolves. It makes it so interesting and so deep and the vampire and the werewolf end up having to protect her from this evil vampire that doesn't suck blood like Edward. Edward's family doesn't suck blood. They prey on animals instead humans to make themselves more humane and Edward's father figure is even a doctor to help save lives and so forth. Each one of their family members are so interesting and so deep written I absolutely love this book and the second and the first and the third. The back of it reads "I knew we were both in mortal danger. Still in that instant I felt well. Whole. I could feel my heart racing in my chest the blood pulsing hot and fast through my veins again. My lungs filled deep with the sweet scent that came off his skin. It was like there had never been any hole in my chest. I was perfect-not healed but as if there had never been a wound in the first place." She's absolutely talented and I hope she comes out with more books even if they're not part of the Twilight series and I'm just so excited to read more of what she writes.

Summary
Legions of readers entranced by Twilight are hungry for more and they won't be disappointed. In New Moon , Stephenie Meyer delivers another irresistible combination of romance and suspense with a supernatural twist. The "star-crossed" lovers theme continues as Bella and Edward find themselves facing new obstacles, including a devastating separation, the mysterious appearance of dangerous wolves roaming the forest in Forks, a terrifying threat of revenge from a female vampire and a deliciously sinister encounter with Italy's reigning royal family of vampires, the Volturi. Passionate, riveting, and full of surprising twists and turns, this vampire love saga is well on its way to literary immortality.
