Hello and welcome to CR Review. I'm Chase and today I have with me the Garmin Streetpilot C340. So this is what it comes in a nice small compact box. So let's not open it up I'm just gonna tell you that it's a color screen it's touch screen which is nice. It has a nice screen size so it's not too small like other GPS and it's not too big. So when you take it out here's the unit. You have pretty (indiscernible) and I can turn on the show yo. What's good about this unlike other GPSes is you don't need it to be plugged in the car. You do not need the cigarette lighter to use it in the house. It has a built-in battery which is awesome because you can plug thing--you can put stuff in here. In your house you don't have to sit in your car and start plugging it in. And what's cool is it has this little port so you can download maps other voices Garmin updates anything you want to it. And that (indiscernible) held on a--it's a little slack here for an SD card so you can have extra memory on it. If you use it (indiscernible) and color screen and what's cool about it is it talks and it will tell you exactly what's true so it'll say turn left on main street and will give you enough time so it'll say in two miles turn left on main street then in about 200 feet it will say it again and then it'll make tinging sound so it's plenty of notifications to let you know what it is. I know other GPSes just go--just have a bing sound when you're supposed to turn and you're like well there's two roads here and you don't know which one to turn on. So this is very accurate. Also it gets satellites very quickly and will et them even in the house which is very nice. It has tons of points of interests. Pretty updated too so you can search you know by lows. If you're going to a friend's house you can look it up by address. So it's a touch screen and I'm just gonna go my locations and it's a cool feature that says go home so when you open it up you follow the wizard on here and put in your home address and wherever you are you can say go home and it will bring you right home to the directions and everything. So I'm just gonna press go home and it's acquiring satellites and it will start to talk and tell me where to go. So other cool thing is as you're driving you can see exactly your speed how far you've go on everything on it. You could also just view the map so if you're just driving around you can see all the local roads which is very nice. Another thing cool thing is it comes with this mount so it will mount right on your car window so you just hook it in here and it mounts right to your window with the suction cup which is nice because some GPSes that they advertise don't come with that and you just think it does and it doesn't. This does come with it. Another good thing is it comes with cables so you don't have to buy extra cable. It already comes with it. And you plug in and your computer doesn't work use your USB driver so it comes with it. It comes everything with it. And quick reference guide comes with manuals everything you need. What I like about this is that other GPSes that are on the market now are just coming new and there's all these weird brand names this is a Garmin so it's gonna last and it's a very nice model. So you're probably wondering how it plugs in to the car. Cigarette lighter adaptor so you put that into your car and right here there's a little spot where it just plugs right in.
