Hi This is my review on the Magellan eXplorist GPS. This is a fun toy to have. It is a GPS and it tells you where you are on earth that gives you an exact coordinates. So it is good for hiking good for making tracks or if you are going somewhere on trips. It has maps on here to tell you what road you are on or where you are going if north south. So it is just a good compass with a map. But there is also a game that you can play. It is called geo-caching. There are a lot of treasure boxes out there hidden. They are all over the place. And this you type in the coordinates to the treasure boxes. They are called "caches". You type them in and this will take you to caches and it is a lot of fun. It is a game. It is kind of like a treasure hunt hide-and-seek game to do. The kids love to do it get outside go on hiking trails and find geo-caches. So you can do it by going to www.geocaching.com and then that is where you get your coordinates and stuffs for all the things that are hidden. And you put them into your GPS. And then you get to go hiking and have fun and start the game. So that is what we mostly use this for. This is a good it is a basic GPS. This doesn't have the cords or anything that you can connect to your computer. So it is a very basic one. But it does what we need it to do. So it doesn't have really detailed maps. You can't download anything from the computer that you can put on to this. This is what it is. So But it is really easy to use. It is fun to play that game and that is what we mostly use it for. So that is my review on the Magellan eXplorist GPS. Thank you
