Hi I'm Thomas. I'm gonna be taking a look at the Tom-Tom One third edition GPS unit. This is a port (indiscernible). As you can see it's very slim and fits perfectly in my hand. It comes with a car mount (indiscernible) car along with the 12 volt adaptor so you can plug it into your car cigarette lighter. I found that once this unit connects to satellites it's okay and it's pretty accurate however it has a lot of problems connecting like it will take up to like five minutes to find any satellites which it needs in order to give me directions. In some others it will randomly lose connection which is really bad if you're right near the location where you wanna be. So I probably recommend one of the higher end tom-toms if you're on the market for a portable GPS or may be look in to the Garmins or the Magellans coz I found that this one is very unreliable although it is a small and nice unit. If it works properly I'd probably keep it but as a little port for an external antenna all the maps are stored on an SD card that has a USB interface so you can upload new maps and new firm ware on to the unit. So I wouldn't recommend this unit but GPS is a great thing to have and I definitely look into other brands.
