Hey Expo TV Sam here talks about my Macintosh computer. I have a Pro Mac 2.66 gigahertz quad-core processor which is basically to dual-core processors inside of it. Let's see what's look right here. That's it the Mac Pro is one of the Macintosh's tower computer designs. Unlike the iMac this does require separate screen that you can hook up to it and it's rather large. It goes about a foot and a half tall about 89 inches wide. That's about 2 feet deep so rather bulky and they run about 30 40 pounds or heavier. I don't know what you have inside. The best thing about the Mac Pro though is almost unlimited expandability options. It has 4 hard drive slots. Each of which can be equipped with a terabyte of data so that's an of a lot of storage if you have a lot of photos a lot of music files plenty of storage for the 4 hard dive and slots. Another brands having 4 separate hard drives is that you can partition them off and you can install Windows on one Mac OS OSX in another and you can truly have separate systems instead of one infiltrated by virus or somehow it gets crash or loss of data. The others are not necessarily affected which is always a plus. Other nice thing about the Mac Pro is you can have a lot more RAM. The model I have 16 megabytes of RAM. That's way more than enough for most people's applications. The only way you can use 16 megabytes of RAM is if you're doing a lot of music applications recording a lot of files or a lot of video editing where you need extra RAM. 2.66 gigahertz of processing power is also again more than enough for most people. Very adequate from music applications as well as video applications so the specs are not gonna let you down. As I have said the almost unlimited expandability. It also has as you can see here has 2 disc drives slots. It comes preinstalled with one which can read and write DVDs and CDs CD-Rs CD-RWs just about anything. You can also install a separate one if you wanna have more capabilities. It comes standard with the FireWire connection USB 2.0 both kinds of FireWire FireWire 400 FireWire 800. It has easy access those in the front panel as you can see there one of the two right here as well as in the back panel. There's lot of connections available. So Mac Pro has it all. If you're looking for a computer that has a lot of expandability options I would highly recommend the Mac Pro over any type of PC just because Mac is tended to be more reliable better customer support better operating system. And the Mac Pro is a way to go because you can expand into the future and you have lots of room to store all of your data lots of different kinds of connections also as SPDIF in the back in both in and out. It has 4 PCI express slots. Those for your graphics cards for any type of connections if you wanna add FireWire connections the more USB you can get a more PCI express card to fit those slots also if you are in the wireless card that's where I would go. So I would highly recommend the Mac Pro for anyone who gets some use out of there computers looking for very good system. Thumb is way up 5
