Hello. Today we're going to look at a wireless desktop bundle from Microsoft. It is the Microsoft Laser Desktop 6000 Bundle; and when you purchase the bundle at the store, there will be four specific components within this box that you purchase. It will come with the keyboard; it will come with the mouse -- right here; it will come with the receiver that plugs into your computer via USB port; and it will also come with the driver and software necessary to run it on your computer. I can only say good things about this bundle. It's a high-end bundle produced by Microsoft. Microsoft produces several desktop - wireless desktop bundles; and this one is one of the top of the line. The 6000 Bundle is one of the better editions. Not only is it very effective using the wireless channel that it does; but it is very comfortable, it's very ergonomic and it does a great job for just regular everyday use, for gaming, for surfing the web, for writing documents, doing e-mail; whatever the case may be, chatting with friends. It does a very good job. Let's look at the keyboard to begin with. First of all, it is wireless and that is the intent of this bundle is to use a wireless package. As you can see from the keys here, the keys are slightly turned in, not quite as severe as some of the other ergonomic packages are, but it is turned a little bit to kind of follow the curvature of your hand, both your hands. And it feels very comfortable as you type. Somebody might say well it seems like it would be hard to type fast with a keyboard like this. I type very fast, and I have no problem typing quickly with this keyboard. It does an excellent job. It has several features on it. It has five buttons across the top that you can identify using the software package on the CD that comes with it. You can use these five buttons and identify them to specific websites that you want to go to through your My Favorites that's linked through your Internet Explorer. It has a volume control over here; it has a mute button. It also has play, stop, and rewind and fast forward buttons for software, such as, Windows Media Player. It also has, over here on the left side, several different programmable buttons that you can use the default link to them are the My Documents button, the Messenger button, the Mail button, the Calendar button, and the Web Home Page button. And each of those buttons, whenever you install the software on your computer, what it will do is it will look at your default settings on your computer and it will seek to open up those default programs when you hit those buttons. Another really neat feature about this is this little zoom button. You can slide it up or you can slide it down, and it is for zooming in text - like say you are using Internet Explorer, and the text is too small. All you have to do is hit the zoom-up button just a little bit, and it'll make that text bigger. Or, you can press the zoom-down button and it'll make it a little bit smaller. Or, let's say that you're looking at a picture and you want to zoom in on it some, you can use the feature in the same manner; it does an excellent job. So this is the mouse, it's a full - excuse me, the keyboard - this is the keyboard. It is a full standard size keyboard with a whole lot of really neat features that make the 6000 Bundle a great addition to any desktop. Let's move on over here to the mouse. The mouse is very ergonomic. It fits very well on the hand. It has curvature for all the fingers and the palm of the hand. It does use a laser, and it uses a high definition laser technology so that it pinpoints exact location on your desk, and then it sends that information to the cursor on your screen. So the mouse is very precise; it does a great job. The mouse has several buttons. It has your standard left and right buttons and then it has a couple of buttons here on the side. This lower button is the default program. It's to be used as a back button in your web browser, so say if you're browsing and you want to go back a couple of pages, you can just hit that button and it will pop you back a little bit. Or, you can use this button here; it's a magnifying button. It zooms in on things and uses the Windows Magnifier for the purpose of magnifying. You can also plug the receiver into a USB plug on the back of your computer, and it all works very well. I have nothing but good to say about the Microsoft Laser 6000 Desktop Bundle.
