It is flat so you've got the thin design with it. As far as changing settings on it it is pretty easy to do. You've got your menu button right here as well as the decrease increase buttons and the power button which is easily to operate. You've got plenty of options to go through in here. You can change the language even to display the menu anywhere you want. So it's got several choices going through there which is nice even if you are spending to practice a little bit of the different language but you can change your positioning your image color everything. It's a really good versatile monitor. I really like them. The colors in it are really sharp one down side for me with this monitor is that it's not easy to adjust up and down. I really like the ones that have the hinge on the box you can make it higher or lower fairly quickly. So I met a lot of different people are using the monitor they can adjust into their height just with the touch of the hand. I really like that. And this one doesn't really do that but it is still a really good monitor and it is a good size you can feel it. If you like to have everything on your desktop you will be able to see everything on your desktops it's knocking to have to individual icons because you got quite a bit screen space. So overall I really like this. I think DELL is really good company and they produce really good products so I recommend it.
