Hello this is Ashley. Today I'm reviewing the Linksys Wireless G Router. This is for networking in your house if you have a home computer or just a bunch of laptops you can put this in your house so that you can connect wirelessly to the internet via this router here will send a signal to your computer. This has speed boosting performance claims to boost the speed about to 35 . Comes with a software CD that you can use to put on there. I had this on my computer when I was still running XP. I recently bought a recently about six months ago bought the Windows Vista on a computer and I started having problems with it. They said all the drivers were compatible but for some reason it would connect but that the performance was not all that great so I bought another router and cleaned it right up so there's no problems there. But if you're running XP this is not a bad system here. I don't know how it claims to increase the speed here by 35 but it says that it does. So there you go there. You can connect up to four wired PCs to share the internet and I guess as many wireless units as you want. If your computer has if you laptop has a wireless card internet which most of them do nowadays you wanna have to buy any of these things on here. You don't have to buy a card attachment or anything like that to make it compatible. It should pick it up automatically. You can also get a unit that will increase the output of the not the output the distance or the range of these things will allow you to connect on. Then again this is a wireless G pretty much the fastest unit you can buy without getting special software or special hardware. If you got--they make routers now that go a lot faster than this but you got to buy the card here that will be compatible with that unit you can plug in to your laptop coz most laptops don't come standard with the higher speed adaptors. So anyway there we go that is the Linksys Wireless G Router. For Windows Vista I wouldn't buy it. If you still have Windows XP not bad.
