Here I'm reviewing a Linksys Wireless G Broadband Router. Now this is a wireless device and also wired device so keep that it mind when purchasing it. This is a four port switch built on to this device. You see there's four ports for your local area network to plug into and then of course you know that your data will be routed through those ports and then the one port for the LAN or internet port that will go out to your cable modem or DSL modem whatever type of high speeder and access you have. So it's a good router. Linksys makes a pretty good networking devices for home users small office users. The interface for this for administrating this device is its web interface through the TCPIP protocol. It's pretty simple to use. Just open a web browser you log in to that P address to the router and you can configure everything you need. So it's pretty simple pretty easy to do. Linksys have been known to have problems with their administrative interfaces in the past but I think they've really got it down to the science now so that one you'll get with this is gonna work pretty seamlessly. Also it has wireless antennas on here which means you can route not only through your wires through your local area network cables but through the air through 802.11 DRG wireless card in the laptop or in your house or you know any wireless devices in your house will be able also communicate with this router and get internet access and printer sharing and file sharing through your network. So great overall device. You should be able to find this online for $80.00 or less. I would think less at this point. I know they've come down quite a bit in price. This is Model Number WRT54GL by Linksys and it's a great purchase.
