Software sold alongside the popular medical school text. Great for beginners learning anatomy who need some practice questions. Somewhat pricey

Hi my name is Mike. I'm here for another review. This is a computer software review. This is Clinically Oriented Anatomy which is a textbook supplement to the book title of the same name. This is an additional software supplement by Keith Moore and Arthur Dalley and this is also distributed by Lippincott Williams & Wilkins. This CD is brought as an addition to the textbook and is used to supplement the information you learn. So this CD has some lectures on it in addition to what's in the textbook some clinical information that you may find useful and the main point in this is that it has a lot of test questions. So one of the toughest parts of the first year in medical school is anatomy and getting used to the style of the questions that are presented to you. This CD has a lot of Morse style questions on it that will help you prepare for the test. Both for your anatomy test in medical school but sort of the board but I would not use this as a board preparation tool. But that's what it's intended for. Everything on here is full color everything is clinical based too. So when you do questions on certain body parts it would be a clinical example. It won't just be like name this body part. There are diagrams tables questions answers and explanations which are really useful when you're learning it the first time. What I like about this is it's easy to use.. There isn't even a software you need to install. It's all in this which is really nice.. This runs on any Windows machine and it might run on Mac I'm not sure about Mac. Overall this is decent computer software. The only thing I don't like about it is that the information is a bit limited. It's definitely not as extensive as the textbook. It's really meant to be a supplement and for $30 or $40 I expect a little bit more information out of it. So in that regard I'm a little bit disappointed with the price but if you have all the money in the world to grow this is a decent thing to pick up. Some people will get this bundled with their textbooks I didn't. Some people do though and overall I'd recommend this to first year medical students. So once again this the Fifth Edition of Clinically Oriented Anatomy.
