Today we'll be reviewing the Sennheiser CX300 ear buds. They are in ear canal phones that isolate, and I'm sure that are a little bit cheaper than the E Series Shures, but in my opinion is far better. What's good about these is they isolate, but the isolation is not so much that you cannot hear all the outside noise even for like safety issues. Some phones isolate so well you can hear only, say a fire alarm or something like that. These phones have one sound; they have a nice base that's defined. It's not muddled like the Sony in ear canal phones. However, the treble is a bit recess and actually you burn them in, it will get a lot better. I found that these phones compared to the E2 series -- are a lot better as well as from the Sony. And as compared to my friend's E4, obviously the clarity wasn't as good, the mids and the highs was not as defined. However, the base is, what's really strong about these earphones, they're not overwhelming. But it does have a sound and makes it real fun to listen to. Again these are Sennheiser CX300. They are in ear canal phones. They have a J-cord, which means that it's asymmetrical and one goes around the back of your neck and one goes behind. -- The cord is a bit thin, but they have been durable. I have sort of abused them I admit. But they held up very well and they are great phones for traveling. And I would highly recommend that you pick these up over other inner canal phones.
