Hi this is the Canon EOS XT the brand new digital camera eight mega pixel SOR very nice camera top of the line for novices pretty low scale in terms of professional cameras however it's got a lot of features. One of the main things it doesn't have in terms of normal digital cameras is the movie mode but (indiscernible) you're not really concerned with movies. It's got a standard detachable lens with a ring zoom so no more push buttons and it does come off very replaceable with other lenses very nice feature you can get some nice lenses or macro lenses or anything you want really and up the flash you can snap off quite a few pictures excellent (indiscernible). And it has a good quick zoom hand focus and takes standard compact flash for its memory just push on the side you can get it up to four Giga bytes so you can store lots and lots of pictures and eight mega pixels will bring good good quality. And overall this has been a very good camera I take it for some very spectacular shot with it and I'm sure you will too. Plenty of customizable modes so you can set it to your heart's desire easy as you want or it's complex and advances as you want choices are up to you. Thank you and --

I have a camera just like this but it's not digital. Is it worth it to go digital while still an SLR? Does an LCD screen and other digital features help picture taking easier or is it more steps in the process?
