Hi This is my review of Canon's Digital Rebel camera. This is an EOS digital SLR camera from Canon and this thing is really pretty incredible. It's an eight-megapixel camera. The image quality is fantastic. It comes with a standard 18-55 millimeter lens which is really great for just general purpose shooting. You may want to like in investing in a slightly better zoom lens if you're gonna be doing that kind of photography but just for general purpose stuff this thing's pretty good. This camera stores it's images on a compact flash card that goes right here so you can either pop this out and stick in a card reader if you're computer has that or in the other side here there's a little flap. It contains a digital output to even plug into your USB port in your computer and it runs from that way. It comes with the cable. There's also a TV output on the side which is kind. You can hook it directly up into your TV screen and display images that way. The screen on the back of this is pretty nice. It's not huge but for reviewing images it's pretty good and all the shooting modes on the top here could be switched to different modes here and the options for each mode are pretty much endless. These are just presets on the top and you can adjust anything manually and just more options that I would ever need on this. It can capture in several different formats and quality and most importantly it can capture straight raw images from manipulation on your computer. Overall this is a great pro-zoomer camera and for under $1 000.00 you can't really beat it. I would definitely recommend this camera if you're interested in digital photography as a serious hobby then you really want a camera like this. This is Canon's Digital Rebel.

Digital SLR vs. non Digital SLR Camera (4 answers)

I have a camera just like this but it's not digital. Is it worth it to go digital while still an SLR? Does an LCD screen and other digital features help picture taking easier or is it more steps in the process?

I take a lot of photos, and I've heard really good things about the Canon Rebel. I've been thinking about investing in one, but I'm just not sure I'm ready for it. Can anyone tell me how easy it really is to learn, and use? (3 answers)
