Okay, this is a review for the Canon Digital Rebel XT to Digital SLR. Obviously, being an SLR it features interchangeable lenses. This is the one that came with the kit, pretty good lens, lightweight, easy to carry around and it’s got pretty good range, decent quality for a kit lens. This thing is pretty comfortable to hold in your hands. All the buttons are well placed, it features several different positions, a bunch of presets on this side for the beginners and more advanced programmable settings here on the side. It also features a pretty big LCD screen on the back here to review all of your pictures. Up here is a monochrome LCD that gives you all the settings that the camera is set on whenever you are taking pictures. This thing runs off of a rechargeable battery, which is pretty good. You can usually get close to 1,000 shots just on one battery charge. It also runs on the compact flash format, which is fairly inexpensive nowadays. Its super fast. It can take several shots per second. So, overall it is a great camera. Takes really good pictures. It does also have a built-in flash here, if I can get it to pop-up. Yup, there it is. Built-in flash and also a Hot shoe for upgraded flashes. So, it’s got great expandability, but it’s also really good and easy to use out of the box.
