Hey, I am Melissa. And I am going to introduce you to the Canon PowerShot A620, my new and super awesome digital camera. Now, as you can see this is the camera that I'm filming this video on. And it's the camera that I've been using and, you know, non-stop ever since I've got it. Canon is a great name brand for is a reason. This is a very smooth body. It is a 7.1 megapixel camera. So it takes fantastic pictures with great detail. It's got 4x optical zoom. It's got digital zoom as well. It has a film feature obviously, and it comes with other cool customizable things. It's also got auto features, so you can use it as a point and shoot. So, if you are not very familiar with this camera, that's no problem. It's very easy to use. Now, a really unique part of this camera is the LCD screen. As you can see, the lens, you can close it. You've got to turn it up, and here's the good part, you can twist it. Now, it seems like kind of a silly feature first, but it can be very handy, especially if you are trying to take a picture in an awkward place. And you want to be able to see your shot. It's already come in handy several times for me and I'm really glad to have that feature. It definitely looks cool and the LCD screen is a great quality. I get a really good idea what my pictures are going to look like. And I look at them, and review them, and playback video, great quality. The sound quality is good. As I hope you can tell. I love the different zoom features, different customizable stuff. I think it's pretty cool that you can even zoom with the video. As you can see, it's easy enough to use that I can do it without even really looking at it. So, if you are looking for a good digital camera that's under $300, I would definitely recommend the Canon PowerShot A620. I got it for about $230 and that was with shipping off of Amazon. So, it's affordable even for a student. It will take great pictures. It's sturdy, but small enough to stick in a big pocket or in a purse. It's all around a really great buy and I would definitely recommend it.
