Hi, I'm Alex and today I'm going to be reviewing the Canon PowerShot A620. It's a 7.1 megapixel camera and it's pretty freaking sweet. Am I allowed to say that, okay? It's got 4X optical zoom and a host of features. It's not a digital SLR unfortunately, but it is not that expensive. I got it for around $250 and it's neat because it has a 2 inch LCD that can rotate around in any direction. So you can take those My Space photos you know, when you're like -- and stuff. And also the LCD flips around to fit in line with the camera. But it also flips back around so you don't damage it. It has a ton of settings. It is ridiculous how many modes you go through and it's cool because if you watch this, and you pick -- there you are, and you pick a certain mode and stuff -- oops. -- Okay, you go on camera mode, you pick settings when they show up on the screen and like fly away into the corner it's really cool. The user interfaces -- it's freaking awesome. And -- the manual goes through all the different settings you have. There's all sorts of manual color change things and stuff you can do, plus all your standard camera features like red eye reduction and all that stuff, plus the ring here is detachable. So you can add on all sorts of other lens, attachments. No you can't replace the lens like in a SLR camera but you can add attachments for telephoto and wide angle. It's a 7.1 megapixel. It uses SD memory. It's got this little slot here and I think it supports up to 2 gigs, I don't know. I bought a 2 gig card. I hope it works, it's not here yet. Comes with all sorts of cables you need to use the camera like -- USB cable, USB 2.0 and it comes with a TV out cable. Of course videos too. The videos are 640 by 480, 32 frames per second, 30 frames per second and it even has audio. So if you want a feature packed camera that's not too expensive, it's a good starter's camera. Then you should check out the PowerShot A620, the replacement of the Canon PowerShot A95 and it's a really sweet camera.
