Today I am going to be reviewing the Canon Power Shot S500 Digital ELPH. This is an older model as you can see it is quite large and the screen on the back is quite small. I bought this about two or three years ago I think. It takes the big compact flash cards. It s been a pretty good camera. The only downfall is that I ve used it so much I took this thing over to Europe taken it pretty much everywhere I ve gone. The only bad thing about it is now when I try to take pictures it s called the button to shoot it and the red light comes out just to focus on stuff and sometimes it s been really finicky with me lately so I m kind of peeved about that. With the camera you get software and stuff I don t know. If you buy one of these at eBay that s cool. It will last you a good- I mean it s a solid camera. I ve dropped this thing and it s fine. It s been a good camera; I think I might get rid of it though to get a new one. Canon is a good brand. I ll just show you the battery. This is the battery the LI ion battery. It comes with this little battery charger and you can take it anywhere it s affordable. It s a good solid camera. It will last you a long time. Although the picture-taking abilities aren t as good as probably some of the new cameras it s still a solid camera. So I d probably give this like a three out of five. So that is my review of the Canon S500 Digital ELPH.
