Hey Expo TV my name is Theresa. Today I m reviewing my new camera that I just purchased. I was searching for a camera that had convenience and quality. The Nikon Coolpix this is the L18 really seems to fit that need for me. I really was looking for a small camera that I can put in my pocketbook and bring on school field trips or just bring to school have it for me when I m at the park and I can just pull it out and not have anything too big and bulky. But I didn t want to give up a nice quality picture so I feel like this met both of those items. And the price is just right. The price was very reasonable for this camera too. So basically what you do to turn it on there s a little button right up at the top you turn it on the lens comes out and the screen is there for you with your menu. One of the things I like a lot about this camera it has a three-inch LCD screen which is very very clear. Anytime I m taking pictures and somebody walks up behind me they re like Wow Check out that huge screen It s so clear so I really like that. You don t have to squint to figure out what you re taking a picture of and whatever. So there is a menu button on here that gives you a whole bunch of different options. You can take a movie clip with this camera and you can take regular still pictures with the camera and it has a nice menu that gives you a different variety of like an auto set. If you re at the beach I was actually at the beach and I put it on that auto set and that was really nice. If you re out in the snow if you re inside you could just click it on to one of these settings and you don t have to worry about putting the flash on turning it off and all that good stuff. So that was really nice for me because I also wanted something pretty easy. Basically these buttons over here you can scroll through the pictures. There s a timer on here. I just recently was out with family and I feel like I m always the one not in the picture so I liked the timer button. I set it up. We were at a drive-in movie. I set it up put the timer on ran jumped in the picture and it really took a nice picture. It gave me ten seconds to get to where I needed to be. Another thing I wanted to show you is in here very easy to get to the battery case. It uses two AA batteries. I don t have them right now but I really like the rechargeable ones to save yourself some money on that and also a small SD card slot right here to put in your SD with memory on it and take a quick picture of you to show you how it works. There s just the button right here and you just click and you got your picture and you can view the picture you just took right on the screen and I definitely recommend it. It's the Nikon Coolpix and it s the L18 and I also like the pretty blue that this one came in.
