DMC LZ7 it is a pretty high quality basic digital camera. I received it as a graduation gift about a year ago so I don t know on the top of my head exactly how much it cost. But when I looked up for the newer model it seems that it started around I think $250 to $300. But those were the slightly newer models that Panasonic has put out than this one. It is a high quality camera. It is 7.2 megapixels so it takes pretty decent image quality. I haven t tried actually printing making any prints from the pictures that I have taken with this camera. Because I haven t really got any use of need for them yet. But it works perfectly fine for you know using images that I have just displayed on my computer and looked at that that way. Like I said I received it as a graduation gift initially. And it worked quite well for you know all my picture taking needs at graduation and at all the graduation parties and various things I went to around at that time. And it served me well since I have had it. It has got 6X optical zoom which works quite well and gives a fairly high quality images even with the zoom. And it also has a digital zoom which goes up closer to I think 24X. And that obviously isn t as high quality but still works fairly well. The back here is a fairly standard digital camera with about six seven buttons at the back. And it is fairly simple and intuitive to use. The menu gets a little bit confusing. That would probably my biggest complaint about the camera is that it doesn t it is not as quite intuitive in adjusting settings as it could be. But I have never read the manual either. So I can t complain too much on that front. And really you know spend a couple of minutes to figure out the basic things that you need to change. So over all it is a high quality camera. And I would recommend it if you are looking for a good basic digital camera. Once again the Panasonic Lumix DMC LZ
