Hey it is Brandon again and if you have seen any of my other reviews you might know that I am in to music and electronics. I have reviewed two other mp3 players and I have five so now I am going to do my third in the series. This is the Creative Zen Microphoto 8-gigabyte mp3 player. Again it is made by Creative and I will tell you some of the features of this mp3 player that make it a great purchase. There are a lot of things out there available in mp3 players today and this is just one. Alright what can I say about the Creative Zen Microphoto 8-gigabye mp3 player? Well it is stylish it is cool it does a lot of cool things but it has its limitations. First great thing about it is its price. It is pretty inexpensive. You can get it for about $150.00 and that is an 8 gigabyte mp3 player and sometimes on sale even less. Let me show you some of its features. As I power it on you can see this cool blue glow around it. It is small and compact as you can see by hands. Very lightweight easy to carry when you exercise or run the screen in bright and clear it has got the name of the song the name of the album the name of the artist it shows what is playing it shows how many songs it shows your battery power how long and far along the song is and I am going to show you some of the menu technology. Well you can look at your music library now playing you can look at photos and you can also use this as an FM tuner which is cool. When you check out your music you can use the same organizational system that most mp3 players have. You can check it out by artist by album by title by genre. You can also record audio books on this it is pretty cool. One of the negatives that I thought when I got this mp3 player was the ear buds that it came with the headphones were not very great. So I use an extra pair of Sony headphones that I bought on the side for an extra $20.00 or so for great sound but this thing does have really good sound. I am going to plug in the speakers the headphones actually. The sound quality has been rated better than iPod which is good and you can hear a song playing. Volume controls are here along here to make it louder or quieter. One of the things that I do not like about it is it does not have video capabilities it does not show album art but it does have the ability to use subscription services like Napster or Rhapsody which means you have millions of songs at your disposal if you like to pay a monthly fee. You can connect it to your home speakers through a mini 2RCA plug and hook it up to your home stereos. You can also use elementary speakers with this thing. If you want an mp3 player that has got a lot of storage 8 gigabytes the ability to use subscription services but does not have some of the fancier technologies that are available today this is a great mp3 player. I suggest that if you need a starter mp3 player this is a good way to go. The Zen Microphoto 8 gigabytes mp3 player.
