Hi my name is Anna and I am reviewing my new toy. This is the power shot S3 IS it's the third and the Canon power shot series and I actually got this camera with my money that I earned on expo TV so that's pretty exciting. I've had a Kodak easy share it's a five mega pixel camera I really like it it's good camera but I wanted to go something that is a little more extravagant like to do a little bit more. This is not as far as the rebel I have a two year old and a five year old and I don't want to chase after them with this huge camera and trying to figure that out. So I felt that like this is a good in between camera I love it it's awesome. I've had it for a couple weeks I'm still figuring out you know all the details on it I like the digital lens cap turn it on is really easy to bring it to a review pictures is really easy. Some of the coolest features I'm trying to do this quick coz it take a hundred years to upload but absolute cool features are the screen here you can look at it like that you can flip it around like this so you can see you know a full screen like that it's nice big screen and then you can also you know if you're taking pictures in the crowd you can be up like this and then turn it down so you can see what you're actually taking picture of or if you're chasing after a child you can put it down on the ground and turn the screen up so you can still see you know what you're taking picture of many different perspective. I like that and the other really cool feature of that is the all way round so if you're taking picture of yourself and a friend you know you can take it like that. The only negative on this camera that I struggled with well there's two so far and the first is that when you want to take picture of the flash you have to remember to pop this up and if you forgot the camera it will say a big letter on top of your screen raise the flash which I find extremely annoying I think you should be smart enough to raise the flash on it but that's okay. And then the other thing the flash does take a while to reset like when you take a picture and you probably have them or two second delay before the flash will reset completely if you don't like for it there maybe a little bit flash but not full flash and not a good picture of that and then you like "Gosh I should have waited in." And then you go get another picture and same things happen and by that time you totally missed the shot that you're going through for about three times. So those are the only two negatives that -- the zoom is incredible I have this tough zoom so I can be in the side lines of football game and get in the huddle and to do some pictures out of it which is just incredible to me. I've been pretty impressive but the only thing that -- it's a little different with the Kodak I think they have this pattern down the color cheap and that makes a big different and this camera doesn't have that so I do miss that I still use the other camera for indoor shots because of that or you know I don't need that big zoom but I really do like it and I think the more I practice with it because you can shot such in a minimum mode. I think that they were able to do a lot more things with it and also you can take videos on it and still have the movie which is really cool. So I would definitely recommend this. This is really good purchase for about $340 so (indiscernible) but I just talked the whole long long time to but anyway the IS power shot S3 IS it's a great great camera a really good value. So go out get one enjoy it take some great shots and use it to make videos.
